Our Approach

We are passionate about doing everything we can to make sure that our residents have joy in their lives, a sense of purpose and feel at home in their surroundings. What makes us different is that nothing is too much trouble and we really do want to make our residents happy and comfortable. We want our residents to be surrounded by people and things they know and love. We know it’s often the little things that matter. We are here to make every day better.

Brídhaven

We provide the very best for our residents and their quality of life is central to everything that we do.

At Brídhaven we believe in listening to and acting on feedback from our residents and our residents family. We strive to continuously improve what we do through feedback, training for our teams and upgrading our care facilities.

We understand that it’s not just physical care that our residents need. We pride ourselves on facilitating exceptional social care programmes, providing our residents with meaningful recreation and activity options.

Brídhaven is a place where families can be confident that your loved ones happiness and wellbeing is our focus every day.

Little Things That Matter

We appreciate that life’s little things mean a lot, the way we like our cup of tea, how much marmalade we like on our toast! We take our time to really get to know what matters to our residents, their life’s passions and how they like to plan their day.

Our Resident & Family Liaison Manager ensures that the transition into Brídhaven is managed with sensitivity and compassion, and those little details are noted and communicated to the wider team.

We are passionate about doing everything we can to make sure our residents have joy in their lives, a sense of purpose and feel at home in their surroundings. Our exciting new activities plan and social calendar mean that Brídhaven is a place where our residents can flourish and enjoy their lives to the full, as well as integrating within their local community.

What makes a home great is the people who live and work here. Our caring team comprises highly qualified and compassionate people, trained to deal with everything from everyday support to more complex needs. From the friendly laundry lady who returns residents clothing, to the maintenance man who personalises residents’ rooms, to the social care team who help with favourite activities; all of us work to help our residents live their best life.

Our residents enjoy high quality care and an active lifestyle with outings, parties, celebrations and the making and nurturing of friendships.

Anita Treacy

Pastoral & Spiritual Care
Meet Anita

It is a great pleasure to be part of the Brídhaven team with their exciting new vision.  The importance of the spiritual care is valued, respected and nurtured by providing support for our residents, their loved ones, and staff, of all faiths and none. There has never been a time when this support was more necessary. With COVID-19, restorative care is needed in all areas of society but especially within the Nursing Homes of Ireland, who were particularly impacted in the most serious and traumatic of ways.

I am very skilled and have years of experience in delivering Meditation /Mindfulness group, practicing in a variety of settings. I also offer mindfulness /prayer sessions e.g. Rosary to small groups of residents and their loved ones. I also deliver spiritual care in an informal way such as through joining activities/outings, art, music, gardening, nature, etc.

Social Care Manager
Meet Mariana

As a dedicated professional in the field of social care, I have a passion for supporting the social, emotional, and psychological well-being of the residents under my care. With over 20 years of experience in working with children of different ages and abilities, I have honed my skills in creating and implementing person-centred activities that cater to individual and group needs.

In my role, I work closely with the social care team to ensure that each resident’s identity is embraced and that they are supported in maintaining the relationships and interests that are most important to them. I am committed to creating a warm and welcoming environment where residents feel valued, respected, and empowered to live their lives to the fullest.
