We would like to say well done to all of the Care Assistants here in Bridhaven Nursing Home, Mallow Cork who recently achieved very high results in the Fetac Healthcare Level 5. This course was attended by our Care Assistants over a 12 month period and the principal areas of study surrounding this course are:
Modules Care Skills – CPR included, Care Support, Safety & Health at Work,Introduction to Nursing,Care of the Older Person, Palliative Care & Communications.
One of our Care Assistants, who received a distinction in Healthcare, when asked said "The Healthcare course was very informative and interesting. It contained a very high standard of training and I really think that it will help me in my future career. What I feel I learned during the course has helped me performing the range of skills and tasks required in the day to day care of our residents here in the Nursing Home."
