Senior Nurse – Night Duty
We are currently seeking to appoint a Senior Nurse for night duty at Brídhaven. Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons who are interested in progressing their career within Brídhaven. This is a responsible position which reports to the Person in Charge.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the efficient management of resources, the rostering and deployment of nursing and care staff, the assignment of work, monitoring the quality of staff performance and collaborating with the Person in Charge and Clinical Nurse Managers in developing policies and guidelines, particularly as they pertain to night duty.
Interested candidates must
- Be currently registered with An Bord Altranais
- Have a minimum of 3 years post registration experience, at least one of which must be in the area of elderly care
- Have proven clinical and professional managerial ability, leadership, communication and organisational skills
- Have the ability to efficiently and effectively manage human resources

Position of Staff Nurse
Brídhaven Nursing Home is currently recruiting for a Staff Nurses to join our multi-disciplinary team on a permanent basis. We are interested in hearing from candidates with relevant qualifications in their field and ideally with post graduate work experience.
Interested Candidates must:
- Be a Registered General Nurse;
- Hold full An Bord Altranais membership;
- Fluent English and a valid Irish work permit are essential;
- Be familiar with the HIQA standards;
- Be a Team Player with a flexible approach;
- Experience in the Aged Care sector is desirable but not essential;
- Hours are shift-based
