Bridhaven's Dining Experience
The menu at Brídhaven changes daily and reflects the needs and individual culinary preferences of our residents. The variety of dishes includes local Irish as well as the more exotic depending on individual tastes. Regular meal times are 12.00 to 14.00 for lunch and 16.30 to 18.00 for tea. Teas, coffees, smoothies and juices are also served throughout the day for the convenience and enjoyment of our residents.
At Brídhaven Nursing Home we are proud to support local Cork suppliers and consequently source all our meat and fish from suppliers in the Cork area. Fresh fish is delivered daily to the Nursing Home from our trusted suppliers. All product is quality checked by our experienced Catering Manager before being approved for consumption.
Residents can choose to have their meals in the privacy of their own room or enjoy a more sociable experience by joining other residents in the dining room. In order to promote resident independence, facilities are also provided for residents (and their visitors) to make teas and coffees for themselves. Visitors are free to make tea or coffee at any time.
